20 września odbył się festyn sportowy dla dzieci ze szkół podstawowych i gimnazjalnych. Wśród atrakcji znalazły się zawody piłki nożnej, siatkowej, koszykówki. Festyn zorganizowany został przez Osiedlowego Zespołu Społeczno - Kulturalnego „Jar” i Stowarzyszenia Społeczno - Kulturalnego „Jar”. Elbląg potrzebuje więcej takich inicjatyw.
