41 zawodników stanęło na starcie IX edycji Grand Prix Elbląga w biegach na orientację. W Bażantarni uczestnicy musieli na podstawie mapy znaleźć kilkanaście punktów. I choć trasa w linii prostej mogła wydawać się krótka, to konieczność pokonania przeszkód terenowych mogła ją znacząco wydłużyć.
