Accountant

At MAAG we have recently started new chapter in our 110 years history with ambitious growth plans for our business. We are therefore standing at the brink of a transformative period for our company, and you can have a role in this journey as part of the Finance Department. In this role you will take part in many different processes in accounting.

We are looking for experienced and open for learning individual with a motivation and great understanding to accounting part of the job.

Key responsibilities:

• Booking bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Managing employee advance payments, business cards, and trip settlements.
• Verifying and booking invoices and travel expenses claims in line with internal procedures and tax regulations.
• Preparing data for reporting GUS/NBP.
• Managing document workflow, accounting control, and archiving documents.
• Participating in monthly and year-end close activities.
• Engaging in projects for process improvement and automation.

Requirements:

• ·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Not less than 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Minimum B2 level of English.

• German language will be as advantage

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
