We are an international company with sites in Zurich, Switzerland, Elblag-Poland and Milano-Italy, and operations and activities across the globe. As part of our growth strategy, we plan to consolidate our manufacturing operations into a modern production facility in Gdańsk. This transition will enable us to bring key competencies together in one location, streamline operational processes, and strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, while creating a modern and efficient working environment for our entire team.

At MAAG we have recently started a new chapter in our 110 years history with ambitious growth plans for our business. We are therefore standing at the brink of a transformative period for our company, and we are looking for a Project Manager to play a key role in our continued transformation and success. In this position, you will lead the execution of customer projects related to industrial gear units, aftermarket solutions, upgrades, overhauls, and service activities. Acting as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with contractual and business requirements, while contributing to customer satisfaction, profitability and sustainable growth

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer projects according to gear box and spare parts through the full product lifecycle, from order handover to final customer acceptance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders during the process of production.
• Proper communication with client true all cycle of production
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, milestones and reporting structures.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Service and Order Execution functions.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting delivery, quality, cost or customer satisfaction.
• Manage project scope, changes, risks and opportunities while ensuring proper documentation and governance.
• Coordinate contractual deliverables, customer documentation, inspections, testing and final acceptance activities.
• Lead regular project reviews and provide accurate status updates to management and customers.
• Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen project execution effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in managing customer-facing projects would be an advantage.
• SAP software knowledge.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects within an international organization.
• Good understanding of project planning, risk management, change management and contract execution.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
